Short and sweetThis was such a short, but sweet read。 No names are given within, which at first I was a little disappointed about, but I did enjoy this little read。 It did read a little like an extract from a bigger autobiography。

I was a big fan of Simpson's memoir, but this short essay didn't really do anything for me。 She spoke of boy banders who were trying to talk to her, actors who wanted to sleep with her or marry her, and one specific one who flew her to NY for her to run from him。 Simpson never named names, which might have made this more interesting。 Instead, it almost came across like bragging。 Her memoir was much better。 This probably could have just been included in that。 I was a big fan of Simpson's memoir, but this short essay didn't really do anything for me。 She spoke of boy banders who were trying to talk to her, actors who wanted to sleep with her or marry her, and one specific one who flew her to NY for her to run from him。 Simpson never named names, which might have made this more interesting。 Instead, it almost came across like bragging。 Her memoir was much better。 This probably could have just been included in that。 。。。more

Cute, short read!Aahh, take me back to the early 2000s please?! When life seemed so carefree and all we worried about was our jumpsuits matching 🤣。 I absolutely loved this and was taken back to a time I enjoyed in my youth… I loved Jessica Simpson and couldn’t begin to fathom the pressure of being young, beautiful, and as famous as she was! But on a real note, I NEED to know who this Movie Star was - it will complete the story!! I also really enjoyed her use of nicknames but damn it, I need real Cute, short read!Aahh, take me back to the early 2000s please?! I knew this was an essay going in and that it would be short。 But now I'm 100% convinced I need to go buy and read her full memoir。 The writing style felt like a fun quick Facetime chat - definitely left me wanting more。 I knew this was an essay going in and that it would be short。 But now I'm 100% convinced I need to go buy and read her full memoir。 The writing style felt like a fun quick Facetime chat - definitely left me wanting more。 。。。more

Pay careful attention。。。 I didn't, so I didn't realize that this isn't actually a book - it's just a 27 page "essay"。 It feels like a ripoff, & I didn't even pay for it - except that I regret wasting one of my 1st reads choices on it。 Pay careful attention。。。 I didn't, so I didn't realize that this isn't actually a book - it's just a 27 page "essay"。 It feels like a ripoff, & I didn't even pay for it - except that I regret wasting one of my 1st reads choices on it。 。。。more
